We are looking for an enthusiastic actuary to strengthen our team and to further develop our services. We are looking for someone who is willing to work on various projects, who immediately contributes to complex issues, who helps to develop tooling and performs analysis for our customers. Experience and knowledge in the field of Solvency II and market valuation of technical provisions, but also statistical programming languages ​​such as ‘R’ and knowledge of VBA is an advantage. Arcturus is located in Utrecht, our consultants are spread across the Randstad and beyond.

Profile:

• Completed academic education (Actuarial Science or Econometrics). At least 5 years of work experience as an actuary in the field of non-life and / or disability income insurance.
• Ability to independently master complex matter and come up with solutions for this.
• Converting knowledge into useful tooling. With a passion for developing risk models and statistical analysis.
• Getting a kick out of making a contribution within a small team in a short time, building up expertise in a specific area.
• Strong communication skills, cooperative, decisive and result-oriented.
• A proactive, service and customer-oriented attitude.
