Tools for modelling the impact of climate risks
Arcturus offers customised models for insurers, enabling accurate premium setting and providing insight into catastrophe risks. For instance, we have already developed models to quantify climate impact on flood, wildfire, and hail risks. Our approach combines actuarial techniques for assessing meteorological risks with proven methods for estimating claim costs. By deriving risk scores and linking them to specific assets, we contribute to risk awareness among policyholders and promotion of risk prevention through sustainable product development.
