Since 2022, Isa has been working at Arcturus. In the same year, she also completed her studies in Econometrics and Operations Research in Maastricht. Eager to learn, she is further developing herself by pursuing the Actuary AG qualification at the Actuarial Institute. Her role at Arcturus provides an opportunity to apply and expand the knowledge and skills she gained during her studies in a practical setting.

Previously worked as a Solvency II reporting actuary, financial risk manager and model validator at the group actuarial department of a large insurer and was involved with the regulator in the assessment of the internal models of the major insurers in the Netherlands. His strengths: accuracy and formulating substantiated judgments.

After completing his Master in Econometrics and Operation Research at the VU, Reinier started as a junior actuary at Arcturus in 2024. With a background in Computing Science and Mathematics, Reinier enjoys data-driven analysis, predictive models and simulations.

Reinier is enthusiastic, eager to learn and enjoys broadening his knowledge in the actuarial world.

Junior actuary at Arcturus since 2022. She has an academic background in Applied Mathematics and later pursued Actuarial Science, completing her studies with a thesis on cyber risk.

Romy is extensively involved in tool development and is our specialist in flood risk. She is also interested in sustainability and deepens her knowledge in this area to further enhance the support we provide to our clients. Romy is eager to learn and a go-getter.

After completing his studies in “Econometrics and Operations Research” and “Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science” at Tilburg University, Stephan has been working at Arcturus since 2024. He enjoys working with data (visualization) and developing models. He also enjoys doing diverse work in order to continue to gain and learn new knowledge and skills. This makes Stephan the perfect fit as a junior actuary at Arcturus.

Meet one of our quantitative talents: Timo. After completing his studies in mathematics and business administration at the University of Amsterdam, he has been working at Arcturus since 2023. He has experience in developing software, but also has a lot of knowledge of statistical modeling. He mainly focuses on pricing activities and simulation models for climate risks and reinsurance.

Timo is enthusiastic, customer-oriented and analytically strong.
